Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

HighPress is currently a private hobby project. The data controller is the project owner, reachable by email (contact us via the support link in the app). If the project is incorporated, this policy will be updated.

2. Data we collect

  • Account: email address, name, chosen language, encrypted password.
  • Activity: your predictions, groups, comments, reactions and points.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser information in logs (short-term) for reliability and debugging.
  • Email preferences: your settings for reminders and summaries.

3. Why we process the data

  • To provide the service (contract, art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • To send transactional emails such as reminders (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f).
  • For security, abuse prevention and debugging (legitimate interest).
  • To meet legal obligations when required (art. 6.1.c).

4. Who can see your data

Your name and predictions are shown to other members of groups you join — after a match has started. Before then your predictions are private. Your email address is never shown publicly.

5. Sub-processors

We use the following services as data processors:

  • Lovable / Supabase — database, authentication and hosting (EU region).
  • Email provider — delivery of transactional emails.
  • Football-Data.org — match data (no personal data is sent there).

6. How long data is stored

Account data is stored as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed or anonymised within 30 days. Logs are kept for at most 90 days.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • request a copy of your personal data (data subject access request),
  • have inaccurate data corrected,
  • have your account and data erased ("right to be forgotten"),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).

You can delete your account directly under Settings (coming soon). For other requests, please contact us.

8. Cookies

We only use necessary cookies — to keep you signed in and to remember your language. We do not use any marketing or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics tools. If this changes, we will update this policy and obtain consent first.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Major changes will be communicated by email or in the app.
